The Theory Test

The theory test is a test you must pass, before you will even be allowed to book your practical test. The test was introduced in 2000, and its designed to ensure pupils develop a good overall knowledge of a variety of subjects that results in better drivers.

HAZARD PERCEPTION

As well as the questions, there are also 14 video clips to watch, where you have to identify developing hazards that would cause you to react in real life situations, either by changing speed or direction. You identify the hazard by clicking the mouse. (In real life, you would be checking the interior mirror so you know what if following you).

13 of the videos have 1 scoreable hazard, and 1 video has 2 scoreable hazards.
